The 2016 U.S. Presidential election is an election of salient, transformational and profound political, social and civic consequences. The direction of the political, social, and civic soul of America is at serious risk.
Hillary Rodham Clinton is as, or more qualified to be president of the United States than any president in the history of the United States since America’s first four presidents, George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson and James Madison sequentially and respectively.
Hillary’s liberal, progressive, legal, and civic resume is unmatched by any of the opponents running for president for the Republican Party—as well as here in-party opponents in the Democratic Party.
Hillary Rodham Clinton also happens to be a woman—which makes her election as president of historic proportions, considering the Amtrak of disenfranchisement, sexism, and discrimination faced by women in American history (past and present), regarding their civil, political and social rights.
In a "what the you know what" moment for the historic women suffrage (right to vote) leaders in America…despite being repressed and suppressed by racist bigots in many states; white males in America gave African male slaves the right to vote in 1870 (15th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution) before white women received the constitutionally protected right to vote in 1920 with the ratification of the 19th Amendment to the U.S Constitution..
Both Hillary and Bernie Sanders are true liberals and progressives. They would both make a great president—what would be ideal if Hillary won the nomination (and I think she inevitably will) would be to select Bernie Sanders as her running mate.
Hillary-Bernie 2016 would be a formable ticket—and Bernie Sanders being a liberal and progressive independent with strong support among working class Americas; would satisfy one of the most important rules when selecting a vice-presidential running mate: Can he or she help you win electoral votes?
Bernie an independent, would appeal to swing independent voters--Bernie Sanders being of Jewish ancestry would not only be of electoral help in Florida with its large Jewish population, but also in Ohio—especially northern Ohio and the key battleground of Cuyahoga County with its large Jewish electorate.
Bernie’s grassroots fiery appeal to unions and working class Americans would be of electoral help in states like Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Ohio. Bernie being an elected U.S. Senator from the north east (Vermont) would also help solidity that region for the 2016 democratic presidential ticket.
America has elected a president of European and African ancestry—now is the time for another transformational election—the election of a female president and Jewish vice president.
